JOAN TURNBULL (published on June 24, 2000) JOAN E. TURNBULL (nee SELLERS) It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Joan Turnbull, aged 68 years, at St. Boniface General Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Joan was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Monica Sellers, as well as herbrother-in-law Ted Dalgleish. Mom will be forever loved and sadly missed by her husband of 43 years, Thomas; sons Gordon (Cheryl) of Ste. Anne, Man.; Thomas of Jasper, Alta.; daughters, Lisa Loner of Duncan, B.C.; Michelle Rae (Neil) of NewSouth Wal es, Australia and Kerry Giles (Larry) of Cochrane, Alta.; brother Albert Sellers (Mary) of Thunder Bay, Ont.; sister Mary-lou Dalgleish of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia; grandchildren, Matthew, Ken and William Turnbull, Aurora and TomLo ner, Dylan, Zachary and Monique Rae; special cousins, Lesley, Roger, Kingsley and Richard; numerous nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends she shared her life with. The family would like friends to join us at St. Alphonsus RomanCatholic Chu rch at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27 to celebrate Moms life.

Sellers, Albert 2002-09-16 Mr. Albert Melville (Bud) Sellers, age 72 years a longtime resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph's Care Group on Friday, September 13th, 2002 with his family by his side.Albert was a graduate of Fort WilliamCollegiate I nstitute in 1950 and went on to receive his Bachelor Of Science Degree (Forestry) from the University of New Brunswick in 1955. Upon graduation, he was employed by Great Lakes Paper (Bowater) beginning his career in various bushcamps, eventually l eading to his promotion as Manager of Forestry (Woodlands Division) until his retirement in 1992.Albert was an avid reader and sports enthusiast, enjoying a game of golf whenever he could. He also studied theology with FatherSavage, which he enjoy ed immensely. As well, Albert enjoyed travelling to many parts of the world, including three trips to Hawaii with his wife.One of his greatest joys were his two grandchildren, who will miss him greatly, as well as all whoknew him, friends and fami ly alike.Albert is survived by Mary, his loving wife of 27 years, daughters Kim Boyechko (Kevin), Deborah Summers, grandchildren Ryan and Shayla, all of Thunder Bay, sister Mary-Lou Dalgleish of Nova Scotia, as well asnumerous cousins, nephews and nieces.He was predeceased by his father Gordon, mother Monica, sister Joan Turnbull, son-in-law Bill Summers as well as by numerous aunts and uncles.Funeral services for Albert Sellers will be held on Wednesday,September 18th when family and frie nds will gather at Corpus Christi R.C. Church for Funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. celebrated by Rev. P.M. Stilla, V.F.Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery.Friends may call at the Sargent & Son Chapel, 21North Court Street, Tuesday from 6:30 p. m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 p.m.As expressions of sympathy the family respectfully requests memorials to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Lung Association or to theNorthern Cancer Research Foundation.
