Note:

2007-11-17 I scanned this page of Gustav Kull's bible as a record of this event.

However, it must be remembered that the bible was published in 1950, so the bible entry was made some time after that -- MANY, MANY years after the event. So, it must be considered "soft" information needing verification by Bureau of statistics data or something else.

Note:

07/17/2006 On the 90th anniversary of her death, just coincidentally...

Robert and Eric Snyder verified the location of Rozi Schmidt-Kuhl's grave. When you enter the cemetery from Hespeler, turn L. Drive down to the sign on the left 7C/1. You'll notice that the headstones change direction at this point. There was a road here at one time. Just to the left (East) of the road at this point, you'll find the grave with Charles Taman's headstone on it. Bob remembers Grandfather Gustav Kull getting him to stop at this location for many years to care for his (Gustav's) Mother's grave.

5 Aug 2006 Rozi Kull marker added to the grave today right above the Charles Taman marker. We purchased the modest footstone with a few donations from the Kull family in Winnipeg. /egs

Note: Linda Kull-Stearns found a copy of this document in her parents home at 586 Windsor Avenue when they were cleaning it out for sale in the fall of 2006. We'll get it translated. It appears to be some kind of fund raising document from 1909 for ex pansion of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Note:

This document is from the Canadian Border Crossings database at ancestry.ca.

It appears to me as though Gustav Kull is going off to McArthur, North Dakota from Winnipeg. Is that how this Border Crossings thing is supposed to work?? /rws

2017-03-2 Gustav was age 31 at the time of this entry. So it must have been around 1915 that he was crossing.

03/30/2007 McArthur, ND is just across the Canada/US border. http://snipurl.com/1efb6

Here's Verna's cover note: "I thought that it was interesting to see a picture of Grampa in his younger years without the kids around him.

I cropped the family picture and you see him differently as an individual He suddenly seems much younger--

Richard's grandson was needing information on his family for a school project. He's using some of the information that we've gathered It's gratifying to see someone of his generation(he's about 10) using the info."
