Beloved wife of the late Charles Lee "Buck" Buckalew. Marge and Buck lived in the Cater Street house they built in Kelvin Grove, St. Simons Island for fifty-seven years, from 1958 to 2015 when Marge moved to Magnolia Manor Retirement Residence. Born July 20, 1920 in Corning Iowa. Predeceased by parents Charles Glenwood Conley and Gertrude Martha Schneider-Conley, and brother Ralph Herbert Conley (Conaway) of Long Beach, CA. Fondly remembered by cousin Eric (Helen) Snyder of Ottawa Canada, sister-in-law, Dolores Buckalew-Cole of Fort Wayne IN, and many friends and relatives throughout the USA and Canada. Retired in 1974 after many years of federal civil service as Legal Secretary / Court Reporter / Investigator with the United States J.A.G. (Judge Advocate General) at Glynco Naval Station, Brunswick, Georgia. Member Lord of Life Lutheran Church; American Legion Auxiliary; Member Order of the Eastern Star; Member National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Golden Isles Chapter 1075; Member Shrine Club Ladies Auxiliary. Special thanks to Mary (John) Fedorchak for her extra warm heart and compassion. Thank you to the staff at Hospice of the Golden Isles, and to the staff at Magnolia Manor for all your kindness and loving care during Marge's twilight time.
